Privacy Policy

Short version: NexBoard stores all game data only on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or sell your personal data. This version of the app contains no advertising and no network requests.

1. Information We Collect

NexBoard does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information to external servers. All data remains exclusively on your device.

The app stores the following data locally on your device only, using Android SharedPreferences:

Game statistics (wins, losses, draws, forfeits) per game mode
App settings and preferences (board theme, AI difficulty, sound/vibration settings, light/dark mode)
Active game session state (board position, move history for replay)

2. Permissions Used

The app requests only one device permission:

Vibrate — provides haptic feedback during gameplay and move replay. No data is collected or transmitted.

NexBoard does not request or use: Camera, Microphone, Location, Contacts, Storage, or Advertising ID.

3. Advertising

This version of NexBoard contains no advertising. No ad SDKs are active or initialized in this build. If advertising is introduced in a future update, this Privacy Policy will be updated before that release and users will be notified through the Play Store update notes.

4. Third-Party Services

This version of NexBoard integrates no active third-party SDKs that collect or transmit personal data. The app makes no network requests during normal use.

5. Children's Privacy

NexBoard is designed as a family-friendly board game app suitable for all ages, including children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone. The app follows the Google Play Families Policy.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

All locally stored data can be deleted at any time by:

Resetting stats from within the app (Settings → Reset Stats)
Clearing app data: device Settings → Apps → NexBoard → Storage → Clear Data
Uninstalling the app

7. Security

Since NexBoard stores all data locally and makes no external network requests, your data is protected by your device's built-in security (screen lock and device encryption).

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when app features change. Updates will be posted at this URL. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
